Sigrid Dannheim Vik defended the degree of PhD in Medical Technology at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, NTNU. The thesis is entitled "New ultrasound technology for continuous monitoring of cerebral blood flow in neonates".
​The candidate's supervisors have been Associate Professor Siri Ann Nyrnes and Professor Hans Torp and Professor Ragnhild Stølen, NTNU.

Ada Søvik Rønnestad and Helene Synnes have submitted their Master's thesis on Heart Rate Variability (HRV) measured by the NeoDoppler system in healthy neonates.
Their study aimed to evaluate the feasibility of using the NeoDoppler system to measure HRV in healthy neonates and investigate the relationship between HRV metrics and potential influencing factors.

The thesis title was: "Heart rate variability in healthy neonates measured by NeoDoppler".

Martin Leth-Olsen defended the degree of PhD in Medical Technology at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, NTNU. The thesis is entitled "Continuous cerebral Doppler monitoring in infants with congenital heart disease".
​The candidate's supervisors have been Associate Professor Siri Ann Nyrnes and Professor Hans Torp, both NTNU, and Department Head Gaute Døhlen, Oslo University Hospital.
